Payment, Cancellation & Booking Conditions
Booking & Payment
All bookings are subject to availability. A reservation is confirmed once the required advance payment is received and confirmation is issued by the guest house.
A 50% advance payment is required to confirm the booking. The remaining balance must be paid before or at check-in. Any bank, card, or transaction fees are the guest’s responsibility unless otherwise stated.
Taxes & Charges
Room rates will clearly state whether applicable Maldivian taxes are included. Additional charges may apply for transfers, meals, excursions, extra beds, and other requested services. Government taxes will be charged according to applicable Maldives regulations.
Cancellation
Cancellation requests must be submitted directly to the guest house.
* 14+ days before arrival: Full refund of advance payment.
* 7–13 days: 50% refund of advance payment.
* Less than 7 days: Advance payment is non-refundable.
* No-show: 100% of the confirmed booking amount will be charged.
Non-refundable or promotional bookings are not eligible for refunds. Transaction fees may be deducted from refunds.
Booking Changes
Date changes are subject to availability and approval. Any difference in room rates must be paid by the guest.
Airport & Island Transfers
Transfers between Velana International Airport/Malé and the local island may be arranged where available. Transfer charges are separate unless specifically included in the booking.
Guests should provide flight details in advance. Speedboat or ferry schedules may change due to weather, sea conditions, public holidays, or operator schedules.
The guest house is not responsible for delays, cancellations, or missed flights caused by weather or third-party transport providers.
Check-in & Check-out
Guests must provide a valid passport or accepted ID at check-in. Early check-in and late check-out are subject to availability and may incur additional charges.
Guests & Children
All adults and children must be included in the reservation. Extra guests, beds, and meals may incur additional charges and require prior approval.
Early Departure
Unused nights following an early departure are generally non-refundable unless otherwise agreed by the guest house.
Local Island Rules
Guests must respect Maldivian laws and local island customs. Swimwear should only be worn in designated tourist/bikini beach areas. Alcohol is subject to Maldivian law and local-island restrictions.
Property Damage
Guests may be charged for damage or loss to guest house property caused during their stay.
Force Majeure
The guest house is not responsible for disruptions caused by circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including severe weather, natural disasters, government restrictions, or transportation disruptions.
